Stock Accountant - Fixed Term

Our client in the Manufacturing/FMCG industry is urgently looking to employ a Stock Accountant at their organizationLocation:Nasrec, JHBRequirements: Please note that this is a fixed term position and not a permanent roleDiploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting3 years of manufacturing stock experienceMust have experience within a manufacturing/fmcg environment BOM maintenance experienceExperience with sageResponsibilitiesDaily Stock ControlDaily GOCM and ASO releasing production on Sage.Daily GOCM and ASO bulk recon on excel.Usage tracking for WIP.Invoicing, GRVs on Sage.GOCM contract managementSite assistance with stock related queries for GOCM and ASOTracking of damaged stock movementProvide guidance & support to stock controller & extended SC Team.Stock count attendanceCo-ordinate and oversee monthly stock count as verification.Month end closePerform pre snapshot checks & balances.Capture counts & split counts for GOCM and ASOPost snapshot & compile variance report & send to sites for investigation.Provide reasons for all stock variances as best as possible.Process correction journals & recount journalsPass Final qty check on qty on hand.Complete Stock Gain/Loss ReportSchedulesStock Gain/Loss ReportPlant PNLGP analysisAd hoc stock reportsBOM MaintenanceCreate new BOMs on request.Process amendments to existing BOMs when requested.
