Steel Sales Representative

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to, identifying opportunities to improve sales performance, preparing quotes, monitoring market conditions and competitors, and building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Requirements: Solid track record specialising in the marketing of hardwearing and high strength structural steel merchant plates as well as normal carbon steels (S355JR-AR)Thorough knowledge of the above-mentioned steel types and their respective applicationsSome experience in the cut to size market would be idealExisting client base within the Steel industry will be an advantageMust be self-disciplined and self-motivated - will be on the road 90% of the timeExcellent persuasive and negotiation skillsComputer skills - MS Word, MS Excel and OutlookWilling to be away from home for prolonged period of time if requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGreat persuasive and negotiation skillsGood interpersonal and presentation skillsAble to operate as part of a teamNetworking abilityPresentable and well spokenWorks well under pressure
