Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30
To lead and drive execution of Agile Release Train (ART) processes, monitor, control, manage dependencies, resolve and remove impediments, and mitigate risks across the ART. Drive continuous improvement to assure consistent value delivery. Provide visibility of the health of feature delivery and overall program increment. Promote Lean-Agile transformation by influencing and coaching leaders and teams in the new processes and mindsets, adapting Agile frameworks to the organization and standardizing practices leading to Enterprise agility.
Act as a team buffer, protecting teams from external interference to allow for optimized productivity.Act as a servant leader and coach for the ART, driving the ART events and processes and leading the teams in delivering value.Act as the subject matter expert by influencing and coaching the ART (including senior business product owners) on Agile adaptation, standardizing and documenting practices to optimize the flow of value through the ART(s) using various tools.Aggregate team objectives into program objectives and publish these for visibility and transparency.Chair the scrum of scrums (SoS), and as a leader of scrum masters, ensure that teams interact and share cross-team issues and risks by facilitating the SoS.Qualifications First Degree - Information Technology (Required)Post Graduate Degree - Information Studies (Preferred)Experience Required: Delivery Facilitation / Agile Transformation 8-10 years: Experience with SAFe 4 framework and implementation of Agile Release Trains and facilitating Lean-Agile Programme execution in large solution and/or programme execution using the SAFe 4 framework and experience as a scrum master using Kanban software.
8-10 years: Good understanding of Agile working practices and LEAN and SCRUM proficiency and working collaboratively across teams.
