Key Performance Areas:Develop measurement programs for wheels (new and existing).Provide feedback on dimensional deviations or defects to relevant departments.Prepare APQP/PPAP/ISIR documentation as per customer requirements.Participate in problem-solving activities, FMEA/Control Plan meetings (APQP-related).Perform routine testing, product audits, and lead gauge design and approval processes.Maintain calibration status of instruments, manage external calibrations, and document verification processes.Conduct Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) and R&R studies.Lead investigations into non-conforming wheels and conduct capability studies.Maintain and organize documentation, including drawings, measurement reports, and registers.Qualifications:Tertiary qualification (e.g., ND Mech Eng or BTech Quality).Matric with Maths and Science.Certifications in CMM Measuring/3D Scanning and quality systems (e.g., VDA6.3, IATF16949, Core Tools).Work Experience:At least 5 years in a factory environment.Proficiency in PC-DMIS CMM Software and thorough knowledge of plant processes.Familiarity with SPC, MSA, APQP, and 8D methodologies.Other Requirements:Expertise in CMM measuring equipment, sampling processes, and technical drawing interpretation.Strong under-pressure performance, teamwork, and time management skills.Integrity, honesty, and excellent communication skills.Proficiency in computer software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, MiniTab, 3D Scanning).Valid driver's license (own transport preferred).
