Staff Nurse

Our client is a dedicated healthcare practice committed to providing exceptional care to their elderly patients.
They are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join their team.Key Responsibilities:Administer medications, injections, assist with scopes, extensions, wound care, bandages, and casts.Perform EKGs, urine tests, and other general tasks.Schedule appointments with Path Care, Sonars, and Admissions; follow up with patients on results.Open new files, coordinate with medical funds for benefits, and manage systems and procedures.Knowledge of Workmens Compensation Act (WCA).Demonstrate sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and take initiative for the benefit of patients and staff.Computer literate; experience with Practice Perfect and Med Edi preferred (training provided if unfamiliar).Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years experience in elderly care.Registered as a Professional/Staff Nurse.Computer literate; experience with Practice Perfect and Med Edi preferred (training provided if unfamiliar).Good written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Afrikaans and English is essential.Preferably with prior experience in a practice setting.Please note that only candidates with the required experience will be considered and contacted.
