Experience the culture of outperformance, engagement, celebration and also contribute to society through our WNS Cares Foundation, where you have the opportunity to support meaningful initiatives and make an impact in the community.Job DescriptionThe Sr. Sourcing Manager will execute complex sourcing projects, from start to finish, including but not limited to – sourcing requests validation per client guidelines, requirements analysis for the bid packages, communicating with client requesters to close any data gaps, prepare and publish the package to the identified suppliers for bidding purposes, following up with suppliers to ensure adequate participation, and summarizing proposals back to the requestor.Key Responsibilities:Act as the point of escalation with the team and client, communicating and resolving operational issuesEnsure the client engagement is executed successfully per contract requirements.Provide leadership and consultation on strategic projects with high importance and visibility within the clientMeet with the clientprogram managementteam on a weekly basis and lead operations discussions. Lead process improvement discussions to enhance operations.Ensure client specific processes and exceptions are documented in a category strategy and other available Intellectual Capital (IC)Provides sourcing services (RFP, RFI, FRQ) to our clients based on predefined service levels, managing simple to complex projects simultaneouslyLead and execute the sourcing process from start to finish, e.g. RFx development, reverse auctions, data analysis etcA strong understanding of the reverse auction methodology and concepts that apply to various sourcing scenarios: Lotting, Pricing, Supplier Communications, stakeholder change management.Collaborate with Client Category Managers and/or SMEs on project strategy and tailor sourcing execution based on direction provided by themEvaluate project scope and determine sourcing approach and methodology to be applied; develop and/or customize various templates including RFx, pricing, and proposal evaluationPerform in depth analysis of proposals submitted, draw conclusions, prepare comprehensive summaries, and present back to the client in a concise mannerDevelop and maintain comprehensive project documentationConduct peer reviews for other team member's projects and check for quality, consistency and compliance with sourcing methodology and client specific requirementsQualificationsRelevant tertiary qualificationAdditional InformationExperience Required:7 to 10 years of experience in initiating, executing, evaluating and managing strategic sourcing activitiesKey Attributes Required:Strongconsultative skills, including but notlimited tochange management, program management, business process improvement, sourcing methodology, eSourcing technology, RFX development and management, communications management, and marketing internal programsMastery of client specific processes, terminology, political environment, systems and unique requirements by various business groupsExcellent written and verbal communication skills (both internally, with client stakeholders, and the supplier community)Excellent project management skills including project planning, time management, multitasking, critical path definitionA strong leader and a team playerExcellent problem-solving abilityAbility to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneouslyA strong business acumen and P&L experience on a program levelAbility to develop and implement processes across#J-18808-Ljbffr
