Both operations are located in the Kalahari Basin, home to 80 per cent of the world's manganese reserves.WHAT SOUTH32 OFFERS:Annual short-term incentive bonus that recognizes both your individual performance and the overall success of the business.Eligible employees will receive an employer contribution towards the company-elected retirement fund.South32 will support assistance for part-time studies aligned to role requirements and business needs at accredited institutions for eligible employees.ABOUT THE ROLE:This role is a permanent full-time position.As a Specialist Transformation, you will be responsible for effectively supporting the management, monitoring, and tracking of all Transformation activities such as advising the element owners on various legislative changes, managing risks related to HMM license to operate, forming part of various internal and external Transformation committees, plans and expenditure for HMM operations whilst ensuring that all related risks are adequately managed and mitigated.Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:Capture all administrative duties on legislative reporting on Mining charter reports, Annual SLP reports, B-BBEE Commission reports assigned to them;Review and consolidate all the B-BBEE reports shared by various element owners during the audit;Consolidate all the Mining Charter reports shared by various element owners during the reporting cycle;Review and consolidate all the SLP implementation and annual reports shared by various element owners during the reporting cycle;Consolidate all HMM B-BBEE Commission reports shared by various element owners including Hillside;Onboard and create purchase requisitions for all new Transformation-related service providers;Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders;Support by performing processing activities to ensure Service Level Agreements are met, as well as knowledge of processing is current;Liaise internally with the Transformation and Diversity committee (Develop agendas, presentations, capture minutes and share same).ABOUT YOU:You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience;Specialised knowledge in Transformation, MPRDA, Mining Charter, and BBBEE Act (Employment Equity, Enterprise Development and Supplier Development, Local Economic Development, Human Resource Development);Experience in SAP would be preferred;Experience working in teams in a high-paced environment;Knowledge of internal control environment and regulatory requirements.Qualifications for this role are:Grade 12 or Matric Certificate;High Certificate, National Diploma or Bachelors in Human Resource Management, Training Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, Labour Relations Law or related qualification in business studies.South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
