Business Segment: Insurance & Asset Management
Location: ZA, GP, Roodepoort, Ellis Street 4
The Supply chain specialist will develop and implement supply chain strategies for their portfolios, which will result in real reductions in the average cost of claims. This will require sourcing and leading vendor selection within Short Term Insurance & negotiation of rates (including contractual), relationship management and supplier management reviews. Alignment and execution of Group Procurement Guidelines and ensuring compliance to national legislation SABS/SANS and SIL Policies and Procedures. Ensuring implementation of agreed rates and SLA performance management of service partners.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Type of Qualification: Diploma
Field of Study: Supply Chain Management diploma
Post Matric qualification with Logistics and or Supply Chain Management
Project Management qualification
Business Management qualification andValid driver's license

Experience Required Insurance Legacy & Enablement
Insurance
3 years
At least 3 years procurement experience in the insurance industry, Industry sourcing negotiations and contracting.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Short-Term Insurance industry is key.
