Developing and executing profitability analysis, pricing strategies, with a strong focus on transitioning to "Everything-as-a-Service" (XaaS) models and financial modelling.
Key Deliverables / Primary FunctionsConduct in-depth analysis of product and service profitability to identify opportunities for margin growth.Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate profitability by product line, customer segment, and sales channel.Analyze cost structures and pricing strategies, recommending adjustments to enhance profitability.Identify areas for improvement in profitability and support the transition to a more service-based revenue model.Assist in formulating pricing strategies that align with BCX's market positioning and growth objectives.Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to inform pricing decisions and optimize pricing strategies.Partner with the Pricing team to execute pricing reviews and track the impact of pricing adjustments on profitability.Develop and implement scalable, competitive pricing structures for XaaS products, including subscription and usage-based models.Collaborate with Finance and Business Units to analyze costs and recommend opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.Track KPIs related to profitability and XaaS-specific performance indicators, preparing regular reports for senior management.Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and other teams to align profitability objectives with strategic goals, ensuring data accuracy across analyses.Core Functional Skills & CapabilitiesImpactful CommunicationBusiness AcumenAnalytical SkillsCore Behavioural CompetenciesPlanning & OrganisingFormulating Strategies & ConceptsPresenting and Communicating informationWriting and ReportingAnalysingMinimum QualificationsNQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in Finance or Business/ Commerce

Strong analytical and modelling skills, with proficiency in financial modelling tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SAP).Demonstrated expertise in pricing and profitability strategies, including best practices in cost management and margin optimization.CertificationsProfessional Memberships in Relevant IndustryLevel of Engagement & Span of ControlLevel of engagement: Interact with similar levels, Executive levels, and various stakeholders within BCX and customers.
