The Investment Platform (IP) is building a new and exciting financial services business which will provide a leading edge investment platform and supporting services to independent financial advisers as well as tied advisers within Standard Bank and Liberty. As part of STANLIB, Africa's largest wealth manager, Group Investment Platform is able to leverage the latest global technologies to build an investment platform based on modern architecture and straight through processing. This will deliver a highly competitive proposition based on customer centricity and digital enablement. You will play a key role in delivering this innovative and ground breaking solution, transitioning our current LISP business and supporting the vision of becoming the number one investment platform in South Africa.
PurposeTo provide support with planning, developing, and implementing an area of specialisation, for Operations and Key Account Management. To focus on delivery processes, methods, and techniques, as well as the breakdown of these to enable excellent service for our advisers.
Key ResponsibilitiesTo provide technical, operational, and administrative support for problems and incidents from the Key Accounts and Service Support teams, on a professional and consistent basis.Proactively identify problem areas, determine the cause and effect, and recommend the best option to implement corrective action.To research best practices and recommend enhancements to current organisational delivery processes.To build and maintain stakeholder relationships to facilitate expectation management, knowledge sharing, and integration.Assist in the management of ad hoc projects affecting the business unit, e.g. regulatory reporting requirements.Accountable for the improvement of operational quality, service, and efficiency, continuously recommending improvements and reporting on these.Minimum QualificationsInvestment or Financial Degree - or equivalent.
ExperienceMinimum 3-4 years' experience in an operations and/or service centre of an Investment/Platform Business.
Minimum 4-5 years' experience with Pension, Provident, Unit Trust & Tax-Free Saving products and the financial rules that regulate these products.
