Specialist: Operations Analyst

Minimum Requirements:Matric (Grade 12)2-5 years investment management industry experience, preferably in a role with exposure to assetmanagement and or fund operationsClient relationship management experience in the investment management industryFinancial market knowledge (instruments and products)Fund accounting experience or exposureUses initiative, is pro-active and possesses problem solving skillsExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Thinks in a structured way and can document processesPays attention to detailStrong numeric and analytical abilityAdvanced MS Excel
Responsibilities:Portfolio AdministrationPortfolio Implementation and transition managementPortfolio compliance oversightLiaise professionally with clientsBe effective and efficient at query management and resolutionLiaise with back office team, external client Managers, PMs, performance & attribution, dealing,implementations, finance, fund operationsPerform ongoing KYC of clientsEffective liaison with back-office administratorsProvide information/support to Portfolio ManagersLoad daily trades on Investment systemUpdate of CRM systemReview monthly, quarterly and yearly client reportsUpdate the process documentation formulate new system documentation for new processContribute to ad hoc projects aimed at streamlining processesKnowledge of Charles River and Hiport and other applicable trading and order managementsystemsAbility to multitask and work well under pressure
