Responsible for planning and implementing the marketing and communication plans through marketing research, advertising, promotions, events, incentive programme, marketing collateral, and publicity. Coordinate and oversee marketing initiatives while identifying market opportunities to increase the presence of BMW Group SF brands and their product offerings in the marketplace.
Nature and scope of main accountabilities Project Management:Development and implementation of marketing and communication plans.Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary Marketing and Communications team to communicate, coordinate, and integrate marketing and communications, and apply best-in-class practices to all efforts.Investigate, develop, and implement communication opportunities, internal, external, and globally, to promote the brand and increase brand exposure.Writing, editing, and communication of creative briefs, project proposals and recommendations, presentations, promotional literature, newsletters, etc.Marketing Events (incl. Sprints) planning and execution.Support and guide dealer network and national retail advertising initiatives and media plans.Provide assistance and marketing updates to regional managers to communicate marketing initiatives to the dealer networks.Support business lines with POS development and manage distribution thereof while overseeing stock control of the same.Dealer Incentive Program – Day to day coordination of Dealer incentive programme, dealer enquiries, and supplier liaison.Monitoring:Participate and present in stakeholder meetings to inform on marketing activities and initiatives.Monitor all processes and implement improvements to enhance marketing productivity.Ensure stringent sign-off processes are adhered to for all campaigns, events, and sprints.Work closely with stakeholders to ensure communication deadlines are met.Ensure all locally developed creative marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere to strict brand guidelines.Ensure Brand standards, brand separation, templates, email signatures, fonts, all internal and external communications, dress code are adhered to.Coaching and Training:Steering and coordination of all departments and agencies regarding the implementation of marketing innovations.Disseminate information throughout the organization, including internal education and training when appropriate.Provide support to guide dealer staff to improve BMW Group SF Brand presence.Investigate and stay abreast of all communication medium technologies to ensure the brand is progressive.Process Improvement:Work with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve the BMW Group SF Brand and its product offering, ultimately driving customer interest and sales.Outline workflow processes to increase the efficiency of the marketing department.Reporting:Produce marketing and media analytics reports if and when required.Analyze Marketing and competitive data and consolidate findings to support local and national Marketing strategy development.Provide feedback and best practices to the Marketing support team on a consistent basis.Educational Background / Professional Knowledge and Experience / Other Skills Relevant bachelor's degree or Equivalent Qualification in Marketing.Working experience required 3 - 5 Years experience in a similar role.Special knowledge / technical skills etc Broad understanding of the business (motor industry and vehicle finance).Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.Aptitude for problem-solving.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, incl. reporting skills and processing documentation.Solid knowledge of media and current marketing trends.Solid knowledge of the materials and tools used in marketing, advertising, and media planning Knowledge of the methods and techniques used to prepare advertising campaigns.Good knowledge of time managing techniques with multitasking abilities.
