ABOUT HILLSIDE: Our Hillside Aluminium smelter in Richards Bay produces high-quality, primary aluminium for the domestic and export markets.

As a Specialist Inventory Planning, you will be responsible for executing materials requirement planning activities to replenish inventory levels (including repairable inventory). To enable planned work at the Operation to be scheduled and executed as planned, by ensuring all planned materials are available to meet requirement date.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Endorses and releases all MRP planned requisitions to replenish stock that maintains set stock levels (including repairable items).Endorses and actions all MRP exceptions and resolves challenges to make sure materials are available to meet planned requirements dates.Coordinates with Purchasing and Maintenance/Work Management to expedite delivery of materials and coordinate schedule changes.Provides administrative support to the damaged goods/repairable bay and expedite repairable spares delivery.ABOUT YOU: You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: Minimum of 5 years' technical experience in Warehousing, Inventory Management or related Supply Chain activities or Maintenance Planning/Work Management.In-depth knowledge of SAP Materials Management and 'Procure to Pay' modules or Work Management will be advantageous.In-depth knowledge of procedures with regards to inventory and master data management will be advantageous.Qualifications for this role are: Serious contenders will have a Degree / B-Tech/ National Diploma in Supply, Procurement or Technical discipline.South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
