Specialist: Finance - Product Costing and Material Control (FLV)In this position, you will be responsible for the following:Establishing and maintaining accurate costing standards for all locally produced export units.Preparing accurate budgets, forecasts, long-range planning, and cash flow projections for export vehicles and inbound/outbound logistics costs.Analyzing and reporting on month-end profitability for export vehicles and inbound logistics costs.Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and financial frameworks.You will be responsible for the following tasks:Setting transfer prices in line with the Group transfer pricing methodology and tax requirements.Monitoring and maintaining the export vehicle invoicing system (SAP).Ensuring the Export Vehicle result is compliant with accounting standards (IFRS).Preparing month-end management accounts and investigating variances from expected results.Calculating and reporting Rebates.Liaising with external audit.Reporting export vehicle-related financial information to external parties.Furthermore, you will be responsible for:Ad-hoc projects and supporting ad-hoc requests from across the entity.Maintaining work instructions, process documentation, and the internal control system (ICS) for your area of responsibility.Improving the financial reporting processes and IT systems (digitalization) within the function.Required Qualifications and Skills:B. Honours in Accounting with at least 5 years' experience in the automotive industry (CA(SA) or CIMA advantageous).Export SAP knowledge (FI, CO, MM).Technical Accounting knowledge (IFRS).Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.Attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Initiative and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Ability to effectively deal with senior management and external parties.Ability to handle varied tasks concurrently without losing sight of the main objective.
