Purpose Statement To manage and control the Exchange Control (EXCON) function for Business Bank in line with regulatory and compliance requirements whilst also efficiently servicing client needs. To liaise with the South African Reserve Bank ("SARB"), Exchange Control Department on behalf of Business Bank. Experience Minimum: At least 2 years Exchange Control experience as a specialist with direct interaction with the SARB. Holding accountability for regulatory compliance in an exchange control environment. Providing exchange control guidance and advice to different levels in an organisation, able to support appropriately. Ideal: Interacting with external Exchange Control stakeholders e.g. SARB. Qualifications (Minimum) National Diploma in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Accounting - Management Accounting. Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Accounting - Management Accounting. Knowledge Minimum: Knowledge of legislation including SA Reserve Bank Exchange Control regulations and rulings. Knowledge and understanding of the FIC Processes. Good knowledge of SARB reporting requirements. The general treasury/exchange/banking environment. Client service principles and standards. Stakeholder engagement practices. Skills Communication Skills. Interpersonal & Relationship Management Skills. Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook). Attention to Detail. Analytical Skills. Administration Skills.
