This role involves creating compelling narratives and strategies to communicate Capitec's culture, values, and employee benefits, ensuring that Capitec stands out in a competitive talent market. The role also encompasses departmental internal and external communication strategies that align with Capitec's goals and enhance its employer brand in attracting top talent, and supporting retention efforts through compelling branding and communication initiatives.What you will bring:A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent.Demonstrate at least 5-7 years of proven experience in employer branding, marketing, talent attraction or communications, preferably within a corporate environment.Experience with social media management, digital marketing and content creation.Track record of successfully managing employer branding projects or campaigns.Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.Ideally you also have:Strong understanding of employer branding concepts and best practices.Familiarity with the latest trends in employer branding and talent attraction.Awareness of the latest HR trends, particularly those related to talent acquisition and retention.Familiarity with data analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of communication and branding strategies.Familiarity with content creation tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software).What you will be doing:Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and refine Capitec's Employer Value Proposition (EVP).Conduct market research, employee surveys, and focus groups to gather insights and data to support EVP development.Benchmark the EVP against industry standards and competitors, and continuously monitor and evaluate its effectiveness both internally and externally, making adjustments as necessary to ensure it remains competitive and relevant.Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan to promote the EVP both internally and externally.Ensure that all communication channels (social media, Capitec's website, job postings, employee newsletters, etc.) consistently reflect the EVP.Develop programs and materials that articulate Capitec's culture, values, and benefits to current employees.Lead external employer branding initiatives to attract top talent, including the creation of marketing campaigns, content, and events.Manage relationships with external partners such as recruitment agencies, universities, and career platforms to enhance Capitec's visibility as an employer of choice.Build and maintain relationships with external partners such as universities, industry associations, and recruitment agencies.Represent Capitec at job fairs, career events, and industry conferences to promote the employer brand.Establish metrics to assess the impact of EVP and communication strategies on recruitment and retention.Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on the effectiveness of EVP initiatives.Capitec is committed to diversity and, where feasible, all appointments will support the achievement of our employment equity goals.
