Summary of the position The successful applicant will be expected to analyze reconciliations data.
The data from the analysis will be used to identify trends that cause reconciliation breaks, build auto-matching rules in Accurate and to implement new processes and controls across the business to mitigate the breaks in the future.

Outline of main duties and responsibilities Analyze reconciliations data, identifying trends that cause reconciliations breaks. Build Accurate automating rules identified through data analysis. Identify business processes that should be enhanced to eliminate reconciliations in the future. Focus on processes in the team that can be automated, working closely with the RPA team. Identify and write new auto-match rules as part of a new client setup. Skills and experience required Have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Recons administrator. A B. Com or similar, accounting, economics or investments background. Experience in Asset Management portfolio administration. Experience with investment products (including hedge funds) either locally or internationally an advantage. IT and Systems Skills and Knowledge. Good working knowledge of systems or an aptitude for working with systems, specifically ACCURATE. Excellent working knowledge of MS office & IT packages (particularly Excel); Knowledge of Invest One and NXM an advantage. Good understanding, knowledge, and experience of back-office administration processes and accounting. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); Reporting structure The Specialist Custody Reconciliations will report to the Manager.
