We are currently recruiting for a Spa receptionist to join the teamRequirements:Qualified Health & Skin Care Therapist with a nationally recognized Diploma (minimum 1-year course).Experience required of at least 2 years in a luxury Spa or Hospitality environment.
(Previous experience at a Resort or Cruise ship environment is advantageousConfident and competent to perform face & body treatments and home-care recommendations.Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.Experienced in Spa software management (CHI Desk advantageous)Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and professional email etiquette.s Ensures all Front Desk and Guest Relations Procedures are implemented and consistentMaximises scheduling opportunities to fully utilize time, therapist skillset, and profitability while managing guest expectations Complies with and updates daily Opening & Closing procedures and checklists.Maximise revenue opportunities by actively promoting all Spa services, products, and special offeringsEnsures a proactive approach in showcasing the Spa and its offerings to guests through spa tour presentations.Familiar with the Hotel and spa, and confidently promote their locations and offerings.Ensures all client profiles are aligned with the POPI act by accurately recording the marketing communications preferences on spa software and databaseEnsures a seamless guest journey, creating personalized memorable experiences, and encouraging guests to returnExhibits a professional attitude, diplomacy, and an ability to handle difficult situations including guest complaintsProvides accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all guest requests by anticipating, identifying, and ensuring guest needs are being met in the best possible way.Upholds and ensures gracious front desk procedures in the booking and interactions with guests, and delivers credible, competitive, and value-plus services to the guest.Target DrivenFlexible with shifts Team Player Additional Employee Benefits:Staff Meals (one meal per shift served at the hotel staff canteen)Pension Fund (mandatory)Medical Aid Contribution (Not mandatory)Commission structure :10% on services/retail after working back 50% of the Basic Salary
