Job Description Scope of the Position: Reporting to the Housekeeping Management in direct alignment with Spa Management, the Spa Attendant is responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of cleanliness in our Spa and Fitness studio whilst providing day cleans and servicing public spaces.
Responsibilities: Responsible for signing in and out master keys daily.
Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Keep linen closets, supply closet and product cupboards organized and clean.
Responsible for linen management daily Reports any problems or questions to Supervisor assigned to the Spa.
Aid guest and colleagues in a courteous manner.
Use hands to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy.
Understand simple instructions, learn simple procedures and techniques.
Perform routine work or the same task daily.
To call In Room Dining for removal of trays/trolleys To report instantly to your Supervisor any Lost and Found items.
To report any equipment malfunctioning.
To report any suspicious persons to the spa or other parts of the building.
To report anything which may be a Health & Safety hazard.
Maintain excellent grooming and uniform standards and always be mindful of loud noises in the space as not to interrupt services.
Read, Understand, and follow all department policies.
Be prepared to carry out any other duties that may occur from time to time.
Attend all proposed trainings and scheduled team meeting/ briefing sessions where possible.
Review Spa Book4Time system or check with Spa reception to identify busier times in the locker areas and be prepared as not to invade guest privacy.
Guide guest at the appropriate time to the location where they will meet their Service Provider if required and actively listen to anticipate needs throughout guest interactions to provide thoughtful gestures, personal touches and ensure an outstanding spa experience.
Provide a warm and sincere closing at completion of service sequence and offer any further assistance before leaving the guest.
Early Shift: Responsible for ensuring that fitness studio is refreshed, with water towels and good quality fruit available.
Follow Spa Check list to ensure lockers and towels are fully replenished throughout the day.
Prepare Iced Tea / Welcome drink and ensure stocked up with enough glasses.
Check and ensure all shower amenities are filled to standard.
Ensure that spa general spaces are checked throughout the day, at least every 30min according to spa LQA standards and checklists provided.
Mop up excess water in the hot spa area discreetly, while maintaining guest privacy.
Check in with spa reception on guest movements and treatments for the day.
Late Shift: Responsible for sending linen down for wash.
Ensure that all spa facilities including steam room, experience shower and salt room are clean and well maintained in preparation for opening the next day.
Wipe down surfaces and mop floors in treatment rooms and passages.
Replenish towels and water as well as empty bins in fitness studio.
On closing spa, make sure that all lights, music, air-conditioning, Sauna, and steam room are switched off.
Wash spa glasses and stock up lockers with robes, slippers, and towels etc.
Follow spa closing protocol checklist.
Empty all bins and towel baskets and replace the liners as needed in preparation for the next day.
Qualifications · Work experience in a 5-star environment preferable.
· Basic understanding and writing of the English language.
