To learn more about our courses, please visit our website.POSITION DETAILSStart Date: Immediately upon the completion of the recruitment process.Teaching Hours:Mon-Fri 12:30 - 15:30 SAST (afternoon shifts only).Weekend blocks: 2h30-6h30, 07h30-09h30, 12h30-15h30 SAST.Set rotation, set off days.From February 2024 - additional classes are available from 07h30-16h30 (Mon-Fri) and 02h30-16h30 (Weekends) SAST.You get paid for the hours that you teach.Approximately 30 hours per week depending on your chosen shift schedule.Students: Teaching kids and adults based in Asia.Contract Type: You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider.Location: Work from the convenience of your home.Requirements:Completed Bachelor's degree.Completed, accredited 120-hour TEFL certification or equivalent.Experience teaching children is advantageous.Computer literate.No criminal record.Technical Requirements (non-negotiable):PC specifications:Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater.Memory: 8GB RAM or greater.Backup power: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is applicable and a non-negotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur.A stable fibre internet connection: At a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds. PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection.Noise-cancelling headsets and HD Web Camera: Backup headset is highly recommended. Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment.
