??JD Specialized Recruitmentis partnering with a luxury award winning 5* Wine Estate in the Cape Winelands near Stellenbosch, to recruit a vibrant and energeticSOUS CHEF.??PLEASE NOTE -It is essential that candidates reside in the Stellenbosch and surrounding areasRequirementsA Chef's diploma from a reputable institution.Preferably 4 years' experience in a senior chef role.Supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards.Work with the Head Chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability and training opportunities.Assist the Head Chef with menu creation.Able to work in a team.Basic computer skills (word, excel, outlook)Excellent written & oral communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.Availability to work within opening hours (e.g., evenings, public holidays, weekends)Ability to work under pressure and creative problem-solving skills.Own reliable transportSound employment history with contactable references.A food portfolio must be submitted with your application that clearly displays your creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
