We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef at Robert Bosch Worcester.Rate of pay: £28,000 per annumWorking pattern: 37.5 hours per weekMonday - Friday 6am-2pmWe are currently recruiting for a passionate, creative Sous Chef to be a huge part of an exciting new journey we are taking with our client Robert Bosch, Worcester.Gather & Gather prides itself on working with the freshest ingredients to create concept or classic dishes with a street food twist. At Robert Bosch, we showcase weekly hot counter "Pop Ups," including dishes from our Pizza station, along with fresh baked goods and daily office hospitality menus.As our Sous Chef, you will be hands-on leading the heart of the kitchen and restaurant. You will use fresh ingredients to create daily Gather & Gather menus, coach and develop the team around you, and build strong customer and client relationships. You will support the management of all kitchen financials and work closely with the Catering Manager to ensure all business targets and budgets are achieved.Responsibilities:Plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations.Support controls to ensure budgetary targets are achieved on site by demonstrating a strong understanding of GP, GP%, selling price, cost price, margin, mark up, and calculation of menu costs through recipes.Prepare and oversee the team with daily preparation of food to the highest standard, ensuring minimal wastage and that food is seasonal and, where possible, sourced locally.Responsible for undertaking weekly and monthly stock takes and coordinating stock ordering for the operation.Understand and comply with Company and statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards including COSHH and HACCP.Coach and develop the kitchen team.Seek customer feedback during service and use the information to develop the food and food service offering in the relevant site.Maintain a professional and friendly image with the client and customers.Work effectively with all colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.Work as part of the team and be able to use your own initiative.Take pride in what you do and have fun doing it!What's in it for you?Working with Gather & Gather has its perks!
