Responsibilities:
As a Sous Chef in a luxury restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our reputation for culinary excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

Culinary Expertise:

Maintain and execute high-quality, visually stunning dishes that reflect the company's commitment to quality and excellence.
Manage and lead culinary teams to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and service.

Operational Leadership:

Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service during peak hours.
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in compliance with industry regulations.

Kitchen Management:

Implement effective stock control procedures to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
Collaborate with the Executive or Head Chef on menu development, costing, and ensuring profitability.

Human Resources:

Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance skills and maintain a high level of competence within the team.

Budgeting and Financial Control:

Assist in budget management, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights for improvement.


Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, luxury dining environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills.
Attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of kitchen management, HR, hygiene, stock control, and budgeting.
Creative flair and passion for culinary excellence.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
