Candidate requirements;

Must have a formal culinary DiplomaMust preferably have +/- 4 years previous in a senior chef roleOwn transport is essentialMust have leadership and management skills and able to work in a teamWill need basic computer skills (word, excel, outlook)Excellent written & oral communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAttention to detailAvailability to work within opening hours (e.g., evenings, public holidays, weekends)Must have the ability to work under pressureMust have creative problem-solving skillsResponsibilities include;
Manage and lead the kitchen staff in the Head Chef's absenceProvide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish platingOversees and organizes kitchen stock and ingredientsEnsures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are correctly dated and organized for quality assuranceKeeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hoursTrain and assess staff on the job#J-18808-Ljbffr
