Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at a well established restaurant based in Irene, Pretoria. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the head chef in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. The role involves collaborating with the culinary team, ensuring food quality and presentation standards, and maintaining hygiene and safety in the kitchen. Qualifications Culinary skills in food preparation and cooking Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards Experience in menu planning and recipe development Team collaboration and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Previous experience as a Sous Chef or relevant role Culinary degree or certification is a plus Passion for creativity and innovation in the kitchen
