Sous Chef

**URGENT** IMMEDIATE START** We are seeking a sous chef to lead our clients Nurtrient Rich/ Organic Trendy Cafe based in Cape Town ( Must have experience in working within a organic restaurant and or nutrient rich establishment as well as understanding cooking with fresh produce
Responsibilites and Requirements
Organising and controlling the efficient production of quality health foods and beverages according the company statutory regulations regarding hygiene, safety and cleanliness.
Prepare, cook and serve food following HACCP procedures and in compliance with Food Hygiene Regulations.
Ensure quality standards are achieved at all time in regards to recipe specifications and measurements, adapting weights and measures to always provide correct meals for diet requirements.
Stock rotation to ensure food superior quality to the patients at all times.
Meal prep, cook-chill methods, food preparation, portion control, stock rotation, wastage and follow recipes in line with company procedures and best practice ensuring high quality standards are achieved at all times.
Ensure all meals are cooked with fresh organic ingredients
Ensure all stations are prepared on/ in clean stations
