Sous Chef - 5* Establishment - Cederberg

Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Sous Chef for a luxury 5* establishment based in Cederberg, Western Cape.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a group of creative and passionate chefs, using local produce and having daily input on the menu makes this an ideal role for a creative chef. Within this role, you will report to the Head Chef and be responsible to assist the team in the kitchen with the day to day running.
Main Duties:
To ensure that all chefs des parties are familiar with the day's requirements.
To ensure that the necessary stocks are on hand at the right quality and quantity.
To ensure that all communications between restaurant and kitchen run smoothly.
To ensure that each cook receives the correct orders for the appropriate tables.
To ensure that each dish leaving the kitchen is checked for quality, quantity, presentation and correct temperature.
To further your own knowledge of management methods and principles to ensure future advancement
We're looking for a bright shining star for this team! Salary on offer is negotiable between R20,000 - R25,000 depending on the person and experience and is a live-in role with meals provided.
