JOB DESCRIPTIONKey Responsibilities:Sourcing and ContractingProvide support to business in executing sourcing eventsExecute sourcing events in line with the TFG Procurement PolicyCoordinate contract approval & utilise contract management processesProvide regular progress reports detailing the sourcing event details (i.e., savings, compliance etc.
)Governance / FinancialEnsure governance framework is adhered toEnsure cost savings are approved and auditableContract Lifecycle ManagementContract administration e.g., capturing metadata for new contracts and uploading supporting documentationEnsure contracts, procurement bids, modifications, and all relevant documentation are kept in the digital repositorySupport the contract renewal cycleProcure-to-PayProvide second-line support for Requisition / Purchase Order / Goods Receipt / Invoice / Credit Note processesStakeholder ManagementDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersAnalyse queries / complaints to understand sourcing problems, gather appropriate information, establish root cause, and propose solution optionsOpportunity IdentificationAnalyse relevant data to identify trends, insights, and opportunitiesConduct industry and supply market analysisConduct spend analysis to inform current spend profileContinuous ImprovementActively identify, investigate, and propose innovative approaches for improvementIdentify and mitigate / manage risks in sourcing eventsEnsure sourcing processes and practices align with Procurement Policy and all governance requirementsPeopleContribute towards the achievement of team, category, departmental and organisational objectivesTake responsibility for personal learning and growth objectivesQualifications and Experience:Matric & Business-related qualificationCIPS Qualification would be advantageous2 years + experience in a similar roleSkills:Excellent negotiation skillsCritical thinkingPersuading and influencing skillsMulti-level relationship managementExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, both verbally and writtenStrong organisational skillsAbility to multitask and attention to detailAbility to deal with stressBehaviours:Effectively works with others to achieve shared goalsRecognises, respects, and appreciates the diverse values, beliefs, and perspectives of othersEffectively adjusts their behaviour, approach, and decision-making based on the situationDevelops plans and prioritises initiatives that align to the organisational goals and objectivesAssesses and improves the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of various work processesInterprets and simplifies complex and contradictory information when resolving organisational problemsTakes accountability and ensures others are held to account on agreed upon performance targetsSets ambitious goals and takes focused action to achieve desired outcomes to deliver measurable resultsPreference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.ABOUT USWho we are is because of our people.
