As we continue to expand our operations and our expertise in battery energy storage solutions (BESS) and maintain our status as the leading C&I IPP, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solar PV Ground Mount Quality Controller to join our team. ROLE OVERVIEW: As a Solar Ground Mount Quality Controller, your primary responsibility is to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in the installation and maintenance of ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. You will oversee the construction process, conduct inspections, and implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Your role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency, reliability, and longevity of solar PV installations while adhering to environmental and safety regulations. As a Solar PV Ground Mount Quality Controller, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of ground-mounted solar PV projects with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance. Your expertise and dedication contribute to the advancement of renewable energy initiatives and the transition to a sustainable future. QUALIFICATIONS : Electrical qualification will be to your advantage. PREFERRED SKILLS: Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and address quality issues effectively. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols relevant to construction sites and electrical installations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to create a full quality pack, including deliverables needed for the successful sign-off of projects. Ability to manage a team of quality controllers on large scale ground mount or carport projects. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3 years proven experience in the construction and the management of the construction phase of Ground Mount and Solar Carport installations bigger than 3MW in size, including Setting out of the site Confirm built levels for the site Civil works, including rebar fixing and installation thereof Mechanical installation, including squaring of structures Module and DC installation AC Installation 2 years' experience in quality control of ground mount or Carport installations bigger than 3MW is size will be to your advantage. Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, installation practices, and industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NABCEP). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Quality Control Oversight: Conduct thorough inspections of ground-mounted solar PV systems throughout various stages of installation, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases. Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Identify and rectify any discrepancies or non-compliance issues promptly. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, test results, and quality control activities. Generate comprehensive reports documenting the status of solar PV installations, highlighting any deviations from standards or specifications. Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including project managers, supervisors, and clients. Safety Compliance: Coordinate with safety officers and site supervisors to address safety concerns promptly. Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of installation processes. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to solar PV installations. Provide feedback and recommendations for process enhancements and optimization to improve overall quality and performance.
