Elum Energy is a fast-growing company based in Paris with offices in Morocco, South Africa, India, Singapore, Mexico, and Brazil specialized in providing monitoring and control solutions for standard solar plants or solar coupled with diesel generators and/or batteries.
Our reference customers are installers and operators of solar power plants and/or energy producers such as TOTAL, ENGIE, GreenYellow, SolarCentury. Our technology currently equips more than 1000 solar power plants in over 50 countries, from 100KWp to 30MWp. These power plants equip factories and shopping centers, or feed into the local grid to supply isolated cities on islands.

As Channel Solar Sales Manager, you will fulfill the following missions:Define the commercial strategy of distribution to maximize Elum's sales. Build internal consensus based on the proposed strategy and implement it.Create distribution partnerships with solar distributors in the different countries of Sub-Saharan Africa (focus on South Africa, Zambia, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Kenya, DRC).Create strategic partnerships with local manufacturers or integrators of PV/BESS equipment in Africa.Direct and manage the activities of distributors to increase sales and visibility in a country or region defined in the strategy.Conduct commercial and financial negotiations until the distribution agreement is signed.Plan and conduct distributor business reviews to ensure business development aligns with established strategy, annual goals, objectives, brand, market, and channel strategies.Create and maintain comprehensive sales follow-up in CRM and ERP.Prepare presentations and reports for different committees, as needed.Manage the relationship with internal and external stakeholders.Maintain and promote the values, strength, and reputation of the company.Market Analysis:Analyze market and end customer expectations and evaluate potential and opportunities.
Act as a liaison between operations and the distributor to resolve problems such as inventory levels, labeling requirements, forecasting, product demand, credit status, shipping issues, and forecasting variances.
Communication / Marketing:Create an annual plan of special events (Roadshows, Fairs, Events, Webinars) in coordination with the Marketing team.
Preferred Experience:Master's degree in a technical field and/or business.Previous international experience in distribution.Strong knowledge and relevant experience in the renewable energy field.Proven track record in leading distribution networks for renewable energy products (Solar Panels and Inverters).Engineering degree or equivalent.Fluent in English; French would be a plus.Computer proficiency.Knowledge of the distribution network.Proactivity, autonomy, and creativity.Ethical with a drive to succeed.Excellent networking, persuasion, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.Flexible and agile, able to be proactive and manage change in a growing organization.
