PROJECT ENGINEER: SOFTWARECape Town for a year and relocate to the USASupports production facility related  to production and engineering development activities Qualification and experience :BEng OR Masters  in Mechatronic, Electronic or Electrical Engineering Minimum 3 years working experience in medium/heavy duty commercial system development process (vehicle architecture, specifications, performance requirements, simulation, selecting components, integration, build and validation)Experience in one or more of the following: vehicle control, embedded development, battery management, telematics and functional safetyProven experience in coordinating and supporting validation activities and creating technical reportsProject ManagementExcellent written and verbal communication skills (English)Responsibilities:Develop industry-leading solutions for areas of technical responsibilityEngage with industry suppliers and interact with engineering development teamsSupport vehicle builds, testing and validationEnsuring the seamless interaction between software applications and hardware components.Execute engineering development processes flawlesslyLeveraging a robust understanding of cybersecurity within the automotive software development environment.Execute engineering development within budgetExecute engineering tasks for productionThe candidate will work from South Africa with the possibility to emigrate to the USA after 1 year.
