The Role
Our Client is looking for a Product Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing the roadmap, leading product development and strategy, and driving digital innovation within the business whilst leading multiple teams to execute the strategy.
Skills and Experience
What you'll do:
Defining the product strategy/vision.
Conducting market research and competitor analysis.
Creating and maintaining product roadmaps.
Defining and prioritizing features based on value, feasibility, and strategic alignment, leveraging agile methodologies to drive rapid iteration and delivery.
Conducting Design Thinking Workshops.
Spearheading collaboration between Product Owners, Data Team, Security, and Development Teams to deliver high-performance, secure products.
Working closely with marketing, sales, and customer operations teams to ensure that technology solutions support customers and enhance service delivery.
Monitoring progress of software product development.
Planning and managing the release of software.
Regular communication with senior management on status, risks, and changes.
Leading the Product team, with a focus on mentorship for Product Owners.
Monitoring budgets against expenditure and managing software development.
Product Risk Management.
Building business cases as part of evaluating features and/or products.
Analyzing and reporting on product metrics, with a focus on ROI and other key indicators.
Your expertise:
7+ years' experience in software development in complex, high-performance software environments.
5+ years of experience in end-to-end product ownership / senior business analyst role in either consulting or industry.
Experience with tools like JIRA, MS DevOps, MS Teams.
Relevant tertiary qualification.
Agile Product Owner Certification (advantageous).
Design Thinking/UX Certification (advantageous).
Experience in launching digital products across various platforms.
Experience working in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Content Management Systems and Product Management.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams (Designers, Engineers, Product Owners, Architects) within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining calm under pressure.
Proven success working in and promoting a rapidly changing, collaborative, and iterative product development environment.
Fluency in a range of technologies (including web, data, ERP, etc.) to direct, inspire, and drive technologists within agile frameworks.

Skills and attributes:
Deep understanding of iterative product development methodologies - such as SAFe and Scrum.
Ability to get into details to ensure successful execution while understanding the strategic impact of the work.
Able to translate and aggregate customer feedback into structured product ideas, roadmap & backlog, and plans to communicate the value of delivering a new service or feature.
Comfortable collaborating on UX challenges with designers.
Deep user empathy and experience, bringing together user research, insights, and data.
Strong organization and documentation skills with the ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical infrastructure requirements.
Working with the data, design, and research teams to research, prototype, test, and validate ideas.
Ability to work with and influence remote teams.
Evidenced understanding and application of human-centered design and delivery.
