Job Description:Develop software using MATLAB/Simulink for automotive controllersUnder the guidance of the Lead Software Engineer, manage documentation, verification, and testing of control softwareWork on software algorithm development and optimization of control systemsAssist in creating system plant models and simulations with MATLAB/SimulinkHelp develop software tools necessary for vehicle production and field supportSupport testing of software at the module level and on prototype vehicles Skills & Experience: Willingness to travel internationally for varying durationsSouth African citizenship required3 to 6+ years of relevant experienceProficient in the MATLAB/Simulink environmentKnowledgeable in J1939 CAN communication and relevant testing toolsDetail-oriented with a strong sense of integrity and honestyComputer literate in Excel, Word, and PowerPointEffective written and verbal communication skills in EnglishStrong work ethic, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mileCapable of working independently with excellent task management skillsA collaborative team player who thrives under pressure and adapts to changing prioritiesStrong problem-solving abilities Qualification:BEng degree in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering (MEng preferred) Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
