We are looking for a passionate and talented Software Development Engineer with experience building innovative and highly scalable applications that customers love. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation and launch of many key features and fundamental infrastructure for Trust experiences. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define these product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.
The ideal candidate feels strongly about customer obsession. This person is clearly passionate about delivering experiences that delight customers and creating solutions that are robust. A commitment to teamwork and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements. Creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance products requires exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience building distributed systems. This person has thrived and succeeded in delivering high-quality technology products/services in a growth environment where priorities shift fast.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languageBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceMaster's degree in computer science or equivalentAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
