MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum of three-year Diploma or Degree in Software Development/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Information Systems/ Informatics/ Financial Information Systems or equivalent. Minimum of Three (3) years of Systems Development as a Lead Developer Knowledge of Web and Mobile Development; .NET Core Framework; ASP.NET, MVC, Web API and Core; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript; jQuery, Angular and React; ORM; Web Services (REST & SOAP), Workflow systems; SQL Server 2012-2019; MySQL 5.6 – 8.0; Database Design
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Perform development/programming activities as assigned by the Manager. Provide programming/developing/ICT support to all business units. Capacitate end-users on the systems used. Conduct JAD sessions on project status and proposals. Assist in facilitation, coordinating of user gathering requirements. Coordinate with the Project Manager in assisting the University of Johannesburg Project Team with development guidelines. Meet goals and targets aligned with those of the organization.
General administrative duties within the ICT Unit such as: Ensure that all documentation relating to the ICT Unit activities are filed and stored appropriately. Secure appointments with various business units and Service Providers Assist with the generation of reports as requested by internal and external stakeholders.
