Minimum Requirements:Demonstrated ability to solve programming problems with high-quality codeStrong skills in languages such as Python, C#, MATLAB or a similar languageAbility to design scalable, maintainable and efficient tools that integrate with existing systems.A passion for quality, a keen eye for detail, and a methodical approach to testingA desire to contribute to multiple concurrent projects, with effective prioritization and time management skillsExcellent collaboration and communication skills, to operate successfully within a local and international development teamAbility to work independently under only general guidanceUnderstanding the needs of end-users and creating intuitive, easy-to-use tools that enhance productivityArea of Responsibility:In this role, you will play a key role in creating tools to support testing and evaluation of high-quality consumer radar products across multiple projects.Create desktop applications for capturing field data from radar products/prototypesExtract useful metrics from product data logsDesign and implement data storage for product testingSupport data cleaning, preprocessing and visualizationProvide support for locally developed tools to international product development teamsHelp development teams find bugs and their root cause by following a methodical approachContribute to the development culture of Garmin Stellenbosch by creating tools to support quality testing in the development cycleSoftware testing and quality assuranceTroubleshoot software issuesRecruitment Process:Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to answer a few initial questions.
