Software Development Technical Lead (CPT) We Want You: You Bring: Minimum of 7 years' experience within a development environment; 3-6 years' SQL experience; 5-8 years' C# experience; 5-8 years' .NET Core experience; 5-8 years' RESTful API experience.
Nice To Have: 1-4 years' experience in document stores such as Couchbase / Mongo; 1-4 years' experience in Message Brokers such as RabbitMQ / Kafka / Red Panda.
What You'll Do: Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to the team through collaboration sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Engage regularly with software architects to ensure development aligns with architectural guidelines.
Collaborate with developers, designers/analysts, and architects to ensure solutions meet application requirements and performance goals.
Review checked-in code to ensure standards are met and the code base is sound.
Consider compatibility with other environments, usability, reliability, and security in all technical solutions.
Drive adoption of processes that meet expectations for technical throughput rates and effective resource utilization.
Quality of Software Implementation: Ensure rigorous testing of solutions before deployment and establish standards and processes for the team.
Deliver complete and technically appropriate solutions that cover specified tasks and user objectives.
Provide relevant documentation to support teams and reduce development support load.
Develop and implement a quality mechanism for solutions to analyze faults and provide reports.
Create solutions that support modification for future developers to enhance system quality.
Initiative and Innovation: Implement improved processes that positively affect team performance and the company's bottom line.
Anticipate and address technical problems and opportunities considering dependencies.
Engage in problem resolution, including after-hours work if necessary.
Demonstrate foresight to prevent errors or delays in projects.
Show initiative by acquiring and implementing new knowledge and skills.
Incorporate new abilities into day-to-day operations to enhance product and system performance.
Ensure techniques, technologies, tools, and processes align with industry best practices.
Knowledge Share: Identify team members needing specific knowledge and seek ways to upskill them through coaching and mentorship.
