Software Business Development Manager

A client of ours within the retail software sector is looking for a dynamic and results-driven software Business Development representative to join our team.
As a software Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building, and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
If you are a motivated individual with a passion for sales and excellent communication skills, this is the opportunity for you Candidate Requirements: 2 to 5 years experience in sales Excellent written and verbal communication skills Computer Literate Reside in or around the Pretoria / Jhb area Own Transport and a valid driver's license Well-groomed and energetic Available to start as soon as possible Key Responsibilities: Prospecting and Lead Generation Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and outreach Generate and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline Sales Presentations and Demonstrations Present, promote, and sell products/services to clients using effective sales techniques Conduct product/service demonstrations to showcase key features and benefits Sales Strategy and Planning Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets Collaborate with the sales team to share insights and optimize overall sales performance Market Research Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities Use market insights to adapt sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities Qualifications: Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar role Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) sales is a plus Excellent communication skills Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented Qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
