Minimum Requirements:
Matric ( Grade 12)Have educational background in business administration, Information Technology, or related fieldHave knowledge of software licensing models, compliance requirements, legal and regulatory aspects of software usage, and industry best practicesBe able to communicate effectively with internal customers, managers, peers, and vendors; collaborate across cross-functional teamsHave analytical skills and attention to detail: ability to deal with ambiguityBe able to multi-task and complete time-sensitive tasks
Responsibilities:
Tracking software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements, avoiding penalties due to under-licensing or non-compliancePerform proactive auditsMaintaining an accurate inventory of software assets across the organization, including details like license keys, versions, installations, and usageIdentifying opportunities to optimize software usage and costs, such as by reallocating underutilized licenses or recommending more cost-effective licensing optionsAnalyzing and reporting on software usage, performance, costs, and lifecycle status (end of support and/or end of life). Identify areas for optimization and improvementDeveloping and implementing policies and procedures related to software deployment, usage, training, and awareness within the organizationGuiding the activities of team members responsible for entitlement management, compliance reporting, and quote to order procurement functions
