This role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations, to assess the impact of socio-economic initiatives and develop effective strategies for sustainable development. Responsibilities: Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on socio-economic indicators. Analyse data trends to inform policy-making and program development. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on socio-economic conditions. Collaborate with governmental and non-governmental entities to formulate socio-economic policies. Evaluate existing policies and recommend improvements based on research findings. Facilitate workshops and focus groups with community stakeholders. Present findings to stakeholders, ensuring understanding and buy-in for recommendations. Oversee socio-economic projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Monitor project progress and impact, adjusting strategies as necessary. Train and mentor team members and stakeholders on socio-economic analysis and research methodologies. Develop toolkits and resources to support community capacity building. Requirements Qualifications: Master's Degree (M.A., M.S., or MBA) or PhD in Economics, Sociology, Public Policy, Development Studies, or a related field. Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in socio-economic research and analysis. Proven track record of working with diverse stakeholders, including government, NGOs, and community organizations. Experience in project management and policy development. Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis and research methodologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
