Socio Economic Development Officer - Mining

Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Socio Economic Development Officer to join their mining operation in Northern Cape.
In this role, you will focus on the implementation of socio-economic development initiatives that contribute to the well-being of local communities while aligning with the company's operational goals.
Responsibilities: Identify community needs and develop socio-economic development projects in alignment with local and national strategies.
Conduct research and assessments to measure the impact of development programs.
Engage and collaborate with community stakeholders, government bodies, and NGOs for effective project delivery.
Ensure compliance with social responsibility and transformation policies.
Create reports and presentations on project progress and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
Manage project budgets and resources efficiently to achieve desired objectives.
Promote community participation in development initiatives to foster ownership and sustainability.
Requirements Grade 12 National Diploma/Degree in Social Science, Development Studies, or related field.
Certificate in Project Management 3 years' experience as a Socio Economic Development Officer within the mining industry.
Project Management/Project Administration experience.
