Hoekstra Fruit Farms (Pty) Ltd, situated in Paarl, has a position available for a Social Worker to assist in the HR Department. The ideal candidate has excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective, trusting relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to):Providing social work services to learners and parentsTrauma managementFacilitating workshops for the school community around social issuesMaintaining appropriate records of counsellingKeeping abreast of social work and educational policy changes and new trendsAssisting the Head of HR in administrative duties and personnel grievancesCounselling and supporting learners and parents with learning and social challengesAll other tasks relevant to the role.Essential Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:A recognised four-year degree in social work or equivalent qualificationAt least 5 years' experience in a similar role, including experience providing social work services to learners and parentsFully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)Excellent computer skills (MS Office)Own reliable transportPlease apply online at www.m3online.co.za before 09:00 on 17 February 2023.
