We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Coordinator to join our team.
The candidate will be responsible for scheduling, boosting and managing engaging content across various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Tik Tok.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about social media trends, pay extreme attention to detail and be dedicated to growing a loyal online community.
Main job functionPlan, schedule and publish content across platforms (e.g.
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tik Tok) using social media management tools.Ensure a consistent posting schedule to maximize reach and engagement.Monitor comments, messages, mentions etc.
and respond promptly to foster community interaction.Engage with followers, influencers and potential customers to build and nurture an online community.Track, analyse and report on social media performance metrics to evaluate success and provide actionable insights.Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, tools and analytics platforms to optimize strategies.Work closely with marketing, design and content team to align social media efforts with broader campaigns.Support any cross-promotional efforts or influencer marketing initiatives.Newsletter/E-mailer copy and distribution.Blog writing.QualificationsQualification in Marketing/Digital Marketing or Social Media.
Experience/Criteria1–3 years of experience in social media coordination or a related field.Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creative thinking with a keen eye for design and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and manage multiple social media accounts efficiently.Experience with graphic design tools (e.g.
Canva, Adobe Suite) or basic video editing.Knowledge of social media advertising.Remuneration:R20 – R25 000 CTC pm
