About the job Social Media Creative DirectorMatric (Grade 12)Creative school qualification / Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred but not essentialProven track record of success in developing and executing creative social media campaigns that drive engagement and achieve business objectives for clientsStrong leadership skills with experience in managing and inspiring a team of creatives to deliver exceptional workDeep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices, with a passion for staying ahead of the curve and pushing boundariesExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersCreative thinker with a keen eye for design, storytelling, and visual aesthetics, demonstrated through a strong portfolio of past workAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform decision-making and optimise campaign performanceProactive and results-driven approach with a passion for innovation and continuous improvementExperience working in a creative agency or digital marketing environment is preferredResponsibilities:Lead the development and execution of creative social media work that captivates audiences, drive engagement, and elevate brand awareness for our clientsLead our talented team of creatives, including designers, copywriters, and art directors, to conceptualize and produce compelling content that resonates with target audiencesStay informed about emerging trends, platform updates, and best practices in social media to inform strategy and creative directionCreatively lead the production process, from ideation and content creation to ensuring a consistently high craft across all social media assetsFoster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the team, providing mentorship, guidance, and feedback to inspire growth and innovationPartner with account managers and client stakeholders to understand their business objectives and translate them into effective social media campaigns that drive measurable resultsMonitor and analyzes social media metrics and performance data to creatively optimize workRepresent the Company Song as a thought leader in social media marketing, participating in industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements to share insights and best practices
