Technician: Clinpath - Middelburg Closing Date: 2024/09/21 Position Available From: 2024-09-13 Area: Middelburg Actual Place Of Work: Middelburg Position Type: Full-Time Flexible Work Week Weekly Hours: 45 Time Conditions: 5 day Work Week (South Africa) Purpose of Position: To provide technical support, perform routine and stat analyses of samples and to assist with supervision related tasks within the Clinical laboratory environment.
Requirements: Certificate: Supervision HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field National Diploma: Biomedical Technology Required Experience: Experience in pathology laboratory environment.
Knowledge: Google and Google Mail Instrumentation and Methodologies Materials Management Meditech system MS Excel MS Word Quality Control Relevant pathology test procedures Ampath Safety, Health and Environment management policy Key Responsibilities: Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath.
Perform administration tasks to ensure effective administration systems in the laboratory.
Perform Quality Control procedures in the laboratory to ensure best practices are upheld.
Process routine bench work in laboratory to ensure efficient processing of specimens.
Provide technical support within the laboratory to ensure the efficient flow of specimens and timeous resulting of specimens.
Supervise laboratory personnel to ensure that departmental objectives are achieved.
