Requisition Details & Talent Acquisition Consultant REQ 134392 – Michelle Thabethe Job Family Investment Banking Career Stream Market Risk Leadership Pipeline Manage Self: Professional Job Purpose To produce accurate, timely and high-quality regulatory capital reporting to internal and external stakeholders that support the strategic management of the group's capital.
Job Responsibilities Reporting of relevant regulatory returns to the Prudential Authority.
Regulatory capital reporting on the Analyst Booklet, Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process and Pillar 3 and any other external reporting.
Regulatory capital reporting to internal executive committees.
Adhoc regulatory capital reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Research new developments in the regulatory environments including SARB PA, Basel Committee on Banking Supervision and any other relevant legislation that might have an impact on the Group's Capital Management.
Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g.
staff surveys etc).
Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction.
Establish and maintain sound working relationships with internal (e.g.
credit risk, market risk and operational risk teams, etc.)
and external stakeholders (e.g.
SARB_PA, external auditors, etc).
Contribute to overall performance of team by sharing knowledge with the team.
Provide senior management with high level regulatory capital feedback through timeous and accurate reports on both regular and ad hoc basis.
Facilitate the monthly regulator capital review and sign off by chairing the WD18 review and challenge meeting.
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Professional Qualifications/Honour's Degree Preferred Qualification CA(SA) Type of exposure Preparing BA Returns specifically BA700, BA340 and BA610 Analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data Drafting reports Interacting with various levels of management Managing conflict situations Influencing stakeholders to obtain buy-in for concepts and ideas.
Communicating complex information orally Communicating complex written information.
Sharing information in different ways to increase stakeholders understanding.
