Job PurposeTo identify and develop products and services in line with Nedbank's strategic objectives. As a Senior Product Development Manager at Nedbank, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative solutions and products. Your responsibilities will span the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation.
Job ResponsibilitiesIdentifying and formulating CVP's within the Onboarding and Acquisition space in Nedbank Home Loans and Vehicle and Asset Finance.Collaborate with the Product Manager, Product Owner, and key stakeholders to formulate well-defined requirements on initiatives and CVPs.Define and develop business cases by working closely with Product Managers and key stakeholders.Provide user stories to multi-disciplinary teams and define the business-driven acceptance criteria.Provide subject matter proficiency in specific functional area(s) to the Solution Innovation team.Identify and document proposed solutions to client or business needs, as well as provide recommendations to stakeholders.Work closely with the PO, BA, and Process Engineer to fully understand requirements that impact the overall solution.Create well-constructed user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria.Perform feasibility assessments and understand business and technical impacts, including high-level costing estimations.Derive maximum value of products or solutions, balancing technical constraints and delivering differentiating solutions.Deep understanding of the business and organization, identifying gaps or alternatives to identified innovations or solutions.Identifying and documenting detailed functional and non-functional requirements.Essential Qualifications - NQF LevelMatric / Grade 12 / National Senior CertificateAdvanced Diplomas/National 1st DegreesMinimum Experience Level3-5 years in a product or service development roleKnowledge and practical experience in an Agile (and more specifically SAFe) environment.Previous working experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst.Direct involvement and planning of projects that required a high degree of integration between various systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, etc.Technical / Professional KnowledgeCommunication StrategiesData analysisGovernance, Risk, and ControlsIndustry trendsPrinciples of financial managementPrinciples of project managementRelevant regulatory knowledgeRelevant software and systems knowledgeResearch methodologyDecision-making processCustomer FocusFacilitating ChangeTechnical/Professional Knowledge and Skills
