A renowned Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for a "Snr Electronics Systems Engineer" to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Helderberg Area.

Position Overview:
Develop, implement, and monitor the engineering process from user requirements to system-level requirements for the company's cameras, primarily the electronics hardware and embedded firmware.
Requirements:
MSc Engineering Degree in Electronic Engineering
Proven experience in a systems engineering role encompassing electronic hardware and embedded software in a high-tech product development environment.
Must have been directly involved with the development of URS documents from stakeholders.
Must have been directly involved with the development of System Requirements from User Needs.
Must have been directly involved with identifying verification methods to address the relevant Requirements.
Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, and governance skills.
Adept at system analysis, problem-solving, and conflict resolution across multi-disciplinary teams.
Experience in teamwork applied in a technical project environment.
Recommendations:
Knowledge of the development environment and standards, such as ECSS, in the space industry as it pertains to the development of systems and sub-systems will be beneficial.
Special requirement(s):
The candidate may be expected to travel to our overseas offices when the project demands it.

Solid understanding of hardware product development methodologies and flow
Multi-disciplinary inter-team communication promoting teamwork
Development of system requirements from user needs
Ability to analyse changes and the effect they have on a qualified baseline of the product.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities:
Attending meetings with customers and potential customers to extract user requirements for new product development.
Assisting our CRM team to address technical questions relating to electronics and/or firmware of new and existing products.
Perform requirements analysis throughout the development lifecycle of a product.
Help develop, maintain, and implement various verification and validation procedures and policies.
Lead technical reviews and ensure that the formal system engineering process is followed.
Assist with the architectural design of new products
