Snr Balance Sheet Bookkeeper

We are looking for a meticulous, task-focused Senior Balance Sheet Bookkeeper to join us at our Regional Office in Strand, Western Cape. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Full bookkeeping function to balance sheet which includes:
DEBTORS Monthly contract invoicesAd hoc invoicesRegistration of vendor portalsCustomer queriesAssisting operations with any queriesCREDITORS Receive supplier invoices via e-mailForward to line managers for approval for payment and confirmation what project cost refer toSupplier reconsLoan payment packs onto the server for CEO approvalUpdate weekly cash flow for paymentAllocate supplier paymentsCASHBOOK Cheque accountsCredit card accountFleet card statementsSavings accountsIntercompany transactionsDebtorsSuppliersLoan accountsASSETS Update asset registerSave invoice copies on serverMonthly depreciationLIABILITIES Write liabilities into accounting systemMonthly recon of accountsOTHER Weekly Cash flowWeekly reporting on debtors, creditors, intercompany loansPrepare accounts for monthly closureVat submissionAudit preparationAssist with relevant information needed for BBBEE auditOTHER REQUIREMENTS Accounting/Bookkeeping certificate or diploma will be an advantageExperience at auditors/accounting practice an advantageSkills and experience to undertake balance sheet bookkeeping.Hands-on bookkeeping experience on Pastel Evolution.Advanced Excel and Word skills (MS Office).Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Excellent time management and communication skills.Clear credit/criminal/health recordVery strong in reconciliationsHave own transportWilling to work overtime when neededCOMPETENCIES Well-developed interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressureAbility to multi-taskGreat organisation and prioritisation skillsAttention to detailCritical thinkerAbility to handle conflictEmotionally matureWell-groomed and presentable
