My client in consulting is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in SMPP (Structural, Mechanical, Platework and Piping) within the mining industry.Main job functionUndertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.Performing risk, value management, and cost control.Advising on legal, contractual, and commercial issues.Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders.Allocating work to subcontractors.Providing advice on contractual claims.Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders within the construction industry.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or similar field.Minimum of 6-10 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the consulting industry.Proficient in MS Office Suite and quantity surveying software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Must be willing to travel to project sites as required.A Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
